Window Protection with the BOY Window Net Frame
The BOY window net frame is easy to install and individually adjustable in width from 80 to 140 cm and in height from 100 to 155 cm. The locking screws allow you to set the exact size for your window opening.

The individual tube sections are inserted into one another as shown in the diagram included in the packaging. Once assembled, check whether the frame dimensions match your window. Place the frame into the window as a test and push it apart until it sits firmly. Mark this position (e.g. with a strip of tape) - this gives you the exact frame size at which the net will later be attached.
1. Attaching the Net to the Frame
Place the window net over the frame and make sure the horizontal and vertical rows of mesh run parallel to the frame sides. The easiest method of attachment is to use the included net ties (10 cm) or alternatively net cord.
Attach the net to the top side of the frame first, then the bottom. Pull the net tightly as you go - this gives the frame additional stability.
Then secure the net on the left (or right) side and finally on the opposite side, each time with light tension.
Any excess net can be carefully trimmed. To insert the frame into the window, loosen the locking screws, slide the frame into the window opening and push it apart again until it holds firmly.

2. Important Note Before Final Installation
Only tighten the frame permanently once you are certain it fits and will remain in the window long-term. Until then, please use the window net frame only as far as necessary for testing.
To check whether the frame will hold in the window groove, simply place one of the larger-diameter tubes into the groove. If it rolls out, the groove is too shallow and the frame will not sit securely.
During the test, the locking screws do not need to be tightened fully - this avoids scratching the lacquer on the inner tubes. Push the tubes together carefully so that the product remains in resaleable condition in case of a return.
3. Safety, Care and Disposal
Installation
If needed, ask another person to assist you during installation.
Cleaning
The frame can be wiped clean with a soft cloth and a mild cleaning agent. The window net should be hand-washed at 40 °C and hung up to dry. Do not use a tumble dryer.
Disposal
Please dispose of packaging materials in the appropriate recycling containers or at your local recycling centre. BOY Katzennetze is a member of Landbell AG, which organises proper disposal. Information on recycling facilities is available from your local municipal office.
Intended Use
The cat protection net frame is intended solely for securing domestic cats in private use. Commercial use is not permitted. Additional loads - such as hanging objects from the frame or using it beyond its mechanical load capacity - may damage the product and are not permitted. The net frame must not be used as a safety device for people or children.
Safety Instructions
Open the packaging carefully with a knife or scissors to avoid damaging the contents. Keep plastic films and bags away from young children.
Fire and UV Warning
The window protection net is flammable and must not be exposed to open flames or intense heat. UV radiation causes the net to become brittle over time, reducing its tear resistance. Check the tear resistance regularly - a brittle net no longer provides adequate protection and must be replaced at the first signs of material fatigue.
