In order to obtain a higher stability of your balcony network, the telescopic rods are connected to each other by means of the connecting rods and connecting elements.

These corner connections are put on top of the telescopic rods installed in the corners for pulling out (on the insertion tube with 16mm Ø) and permanently fixed with the appropriate screws. The distances between the telescopic poles should not be more than 2 meters.

Please note that all offered connecting elements CANNOT be attached to the lower end of the telescopic rod for pulling out.

If you also want to install a cross connection on the lower long side, then you cannot use the telescopic rods to extend it. In this case, you need to use the connecting rods. Then you can attach the connecting elements at the top and bottom (in this case, the connecting elements are placed on the connecting rod and secured by the tripod spring engaging).

ATTENTION: You do NOT need a screw if the corner joints are used together with the connecting rods. Screws are only required if the corner connections are mounted on our telescopic rods for pulling out.

Telescopic rod to extend from 110 to 210cm, made of galvanized steel

Telescopic poles are the most commonly used tools for attaching cat nets to balconies, terraces and gardens. It is therefore important that they are stable and strong so that they can withstand wind and weather. Our extendable telescopic rods have a diameter of approx. 19/16mm. . To ensure that the cat net does not sag too much between the telescopic rods, the telescopic rods should be attached at a distance of approx. 2 m. . Please note - to attach these telescopic rods you need our telescopic rod holder for railing handrails. This telescopic rod CANNOT be stretched between floor and ceiling. Together with the telescopic rod holder, it holds more permanently than the telescopic rods for tensioning. . The height of the telescopic rod can be continuously adjusted from 110 cm to 210 cm with the locking screw. A hole for attaching the braided line is located at the top AND bottom of the telescopic rod. The net can be easily attached there with a net tie together with our braided line, so that it cannot slip down or gets a straight end at the bottom. The inner telescopic rod is closed at the top with a plastic cap. The telescopic rod is open at the bottom so that any water that may have gotten in can drain off. . So that the cat cannot swing over the net when climbing, we recommend our suitable climbing protection for telescopic rods that can be pulled out. . If you would like to use the telescopic rods to pull them out in the garden for a cat enclosure, then we also recommend our lawn mounts for telescopic rods for a firm footing.Please note: Unfortunately, galvanizing does not have the same weather resistance as hot-dip galvanizing or stainless steel. Depending on the weather (rain/humidity), the telescopic poles can start to rust after a while. This is essentially a visual issue. . The only alternative => telescopic rods made of stainless steel.
