Making a Wall-Mounted Balcony Cat-Proof: It's That Easy

A wall-mounted balcony has a solid parapet wall instead of a metal railing and no ceiling above it. The solutions are therefore very similar to those for a traditional balcony with a railing, with one important difference: Instead of railing clamps, the posts are secured to the top edge of the parapet using special wall clamps. We’ll show you three proven solutions.

Solution 1

Installation WITHOUT drilling (telescopic rods that extend)

The telescoping rods are secured to the top edge of the parapet wall using special wall clamps and extended vertically upward. The optional anti-climb bracket at the tip of the pole prevents cats that like to climb from getting over the net. Tenant-friendly, flexible, and removable without leaving any residue.

Solution 2

Installation WITHOUT drilling (telescopic rods + frame system)

This solution builds on Solution 1, but adds the frame system (connecting rods and fasteners) to the top of the telescoping rods. The cross-connections between the rods prevent the netting from sagging or the rods from moving apart under load. Highly recommended for longer balconies or very active cats.
