When two materials of different hardness rub against each other, the softer material wears through over time. The same problem exists with cat nets that are hooked into metal hooks. After some time, the nylon thread of the net wears through.
To prevent this problem, our hooks are plastic-coated. Our screw hook set consists of 6 strong, white plastic-coated screw hooks and 6 matching quality dowels (Fischer®).
