This extendable telescopic rod is made of robust STAINLESS STEEL with a wall thickness of approx. 1mm and a diameter of 19/16mm. Stainless steel is harder than normal steel and is therefore much more resilient.
These stainless steel telescopic rods can be continuously extended from 110cm to 210cm. The desired height can be easily adjusted with the locking screw. The inner pole (upper pole) is closed at the top with a plastic cap. The outer pole (lower pole) is open at the bottom so that any rainwater that has entered can drain out.
A hole for attaching the tension rope is located at the upper part of the inner sliding pole and at the lower part of the outer (lower) telescopic pole. These telescopic poles can be mounted with all brackets.
To ensure sufficient stability, the telescopic poles should be mounted at a distance of approx. 2.0m.
Telescopic poles made of stainless steel not only have higher weather resistance, but also higher stability compared to telescopic poles made of steel. A stainless steel telescopic pole should last a cat's lifetime. They can be used anywhere on terraces or in gardens. They withstand wind and weather. Our stainless steel telescopic poles have the same dimensions as our galvanized steel telescopic poles and can therefore be combined with all telescopic pole mounting accessory items.
To prevent the cat net from sagging too much between the telescopic poles later, the poles should be attached at a distance of approx. 2m.
Please note - to attach these telescopic poles (e.g. to a railing handrail), you need a telescopic pole bracket. These telescopic poles CANNOT be tensioned between the floor and the ceiling.
A hole for attaching the braided cord is located at the top AND bottom end of the telescopic pole. The net can be easily fastened there with a net binder together with our braided cord, so that it cannot slide down or also gets a straight finish at the bottom. The inner telescopic pole is closed at the top with a plastic plug. At the bottom, the telescopic pole is open so that any rainwater that has entered can drain off.
To prevent the cat from climbing over the net at the top, we recommend our matching telescopic pole overclimbing protection - also made of stainless steel.
