Standard telescopic poles made of strong galvanized steel with a wall thickness of approx. 1mm and a diameter of 19/16mm. Their length can be continuously adjusted from 110cm to 210cm. The desired height can be easily adjusted with the locking screw. The inner pole (upper pole) is closed at the top with a plastic cap. The outer pole (lower pole) is open at the bottom so that rainwater can drain out. A hole for attaching the tension rope is located on the upper part of the inner pole and on the lower part of the outer (lower) telescopic pole.
To ensure sufficient stability, the telescopic poles should be mounted at a distance of approx. 2.0m.
Telescopic poles are the most commonly used aids for attaching cat nets to balconies, terraces, and gardens. It is therefore important that they are stable and strong so that they can withstand wind and weather. Our extendable telescopic poles have a diameter of approx. 19/16mm.
Please note: to attach these telescopic poles, you will need our telescopic pole bracket for railings and handrails. This telescopic pole CANNOT be tensioned between the floor and the ceiling. Together with the telescopic pole bracket, it holds more permanently than telescopic poles for tensioning.
A hole for attaching the braided cord is located at the top AND bottom end of the telescopic pole. The net can be easily attached there with a net tie (100mm long) together with our braided cord, so that it cannot slip down or also gets a straight finish at the bottom. The inner telescopic pole is closed at the top with a plastic cap. The telescopic pole is open at the bottom so that any water that has entered can drain off.
To prevent the cat from climbing over the net at the top, we recommend our suitable anti-climbing protection for extendable telescopic poles.
If you want to use the extendable telescopic poles in the garden for a cat enclosure, we also recommend our lawn brackets for telescopic poles for a firm stand.
Please note: galvanic galvanization unfortunately does not have the same weather resistance as hot-dip galvanization or stainless steel. Depending on the weather (rain/moisture), the telescopic poles may start to rust after some time. This is essentially an optical problem.
Only alternative: telescopic poles made of stainless steel.
